Twin Knobs - Cave Run Lake - Morehead, KY

This campground is one of my favorites. I have enjoyed every visit so far.

The facilities offered vary on each loop.  Many loops have electric hook-ups, but many do not.  Water is not offered on any of the sites that I know of, but it's usually within hose distance (make sure to have at least 100'). Their website advertises some sewer hook-ups available, but I have never seen nor been offered any.  The only sewer hook-ups noticeable are for the hosts.  Not to worry though, there are two dump stations located close by.

The scenery in the area is breath-taking as advertised on their website.  Lots of shoreline to walk (with trails) and many hiking paths for mini-adventures. 

The sites are all well-maintained by the hosts there.  I haven't been on a site yet that was untidy.  The only problem I've had so far is a missing aluminum can receptacle.

You can't go wrong with this campground.
